Recent Publication: Enhancing Surgical Precision
We’re proud to share our recent publication: "Improving Glenoid Guidewire Placement in Shoulder Arthroplasty: A Comparative Study of Mixed Reality Holographic Overlay Technique With Freehand Technique and Conventional Navigation." Authored by Dr. Kristine Italia, with notable mentions to Mrs. Marine Launay, Mr. Luke Gilliand, Mr. James Nielson, Dr. Jashint Maharaj, Dr. Kenneth Cutbush and Prof. Ashish Gupta, this study explores the effectiveness of mixed reality holographic overlay techniques in improving the precision of guidewire placement in shoulder arthroplasty compared to traditional methods. The findings suggest that holographic overlay could enhance surgical accuracy and outcomes.
