Seamless, Scalable, Smart: Tetrous® Kicks Off Multinational Data Collection with Akunah

We’re excited to share that our latest clinical data project with Tetrous is now underway, supporting data collection efforts across multiple sites in Australia and New Zealand.

Tetrous' EnFix® Technology: Revolutionizing Rotator Cuff Repair

Tetrous has developed the EnFix family of demineralized bone fiber (DBF) implants, engineered to promote natural bone-to-tendon healing through endochondral ossification. By delivering key growth factors within an osteoconductive scaffold, EnFix enhances tendon-to-bone attachment, supporting more durable repairs and improved patient outcomes—particularly in rotator cuff repair.

Collaborative Data Collection Across Australia and New Zealand

Surgeons across Australia and New Zealand are now actively collecting structured patient and clinical data through the Akunah platform as part of a multi-site initiative led by Tetrous. This real-time data collection allows Tetrous, based in the United States, to seamlessly monitor progress and gain insights into the study—without disrupting local clinical workflows.

The study was built using standardised inbuilt questionnaires, customisable workflows, and seamless patient e-consenting pathways, enabling structured data capture across the full continuum: pre-operative, intra-operative, and post-operative.

If you're considering launching a clinical study or trial involving multiple surgeons or sites, especially in the orthopaedic space, and want quick setup and minimal onboarding, get in touch with our team.

Let Akunah help you scale your research with ease and efficiency.
